Now that Spring is here, why not have a clear-out? You can drop off household hazardous waste and electronics for safe disposal at the upcoming Community Environment Days. You can also drop off reusable and recyclable items such as clothing, small appliances, and non-perishable food items and pick up free compost for your garden.

Local environment days are:

Saturday April 27 from 10am – 2pm: Sir Casmir Gzowski Park, 2001 Lake Shore Blvd.
Saturday, July 27 from 10am – 2pm: Sorauren Park, 289 Sorauren Ave. (along Wabash Ave.)

Ward 9, City of Toronto and Councillor Ana Bailão
Saturday May 11 from 10am – 2pm: Galleria Mall, 1245 Dupont Street
Sunday, July 14 from 10am – 2pm: Dufferin Mall, 900 Dufferin St.

Ward 3, City of Toronto and Councillor Mark Grimes
Saturday June 22 from 10am – 2pm: Etobicoke School of the Arts, 675 Royal York Rd.
Sunday, September 7 from 10am – 2pm: Snow Storage Yard, 207 New Toronto St.
